Gala's colt

It is hard to believe, if you judge by the pictures, that this beautiful golden boy has been DNA tested black.
This pure spanish colt is out of our Axis/IngratoIX daughter, "Galadriel", and by the imported black stallion "Meloso AS". This classic combination of genes has produced a classic baroque old style colt. At the moment the name we have chosen for him is Granadino SG, his great grandfather on his mother's side, because he reminds us so much of him. Granadino has a short coupled, compact, strong boned build. He has his mother's gorgeous convex head, soft eyes, and should have her luxuriously long mane and tail. He carries his father's incredible movement and personality. He is also quite a character. He is spunky and yet laid back. Granadino is so laid back that we have barely seen him trot at all, but when he does it's a WOW!

We have no doubt Granadino will make someone a great exhibition/show horse because of his wonderful agility and athleticism. His movement shows natural collection with an exceptional elevated floating trot.
